I found myself at a loose end on Good Friday, so made the decision to go hunting. The sun was shining and the town centre was in a buoyant mood. There was a football game coming up and this, coupled with the good weather and Bank Holiday, meant that the streets were usually busy. I would say close to pre-pandemic levels – which as someone who started street photography at one of its many heights, is a real treat.
My last P.O.T.D post was also from the same day.
While I’m pretty confident there was nothing I captured was the G.O.A.T, it was certainly fun and I got a few that I’m proud of. Here’s a highlight – a local clown and her balloons.

Note: A bright day for sure. Usually, I walk with at least f/8 so I’m not sure why I’m at f/5.6. It would’ve made for a better exposure – next time, next time.
